Observing a new seedling breaking through the earth demonstrates the strength of new life. There is a determination and demand to be able to move through dirt, around rocks, and persevere no matter what. And if that seedling is nurtured and given all the it requires to grow, it will.
In looking at my life as I emerge from the winter of this cycle, I ask what do I require to demand that I emerge strong, determined, willing and able? For each of us that may be something different, and yet I am pretty certain that there are some common elements that are stopping each of us.
- Making myself valuable and the number one priority in my life and living.
A seedling doesn’t hesitate in moving forward. If something is in the way, it just goes around it and pushes through. Who or what am I making as my excuse for not moving forward and creating the life I desire?
- The willingness to change and stop settling for the same way of being.
How much uncomfortable-ness does the seedling experience as it pushes and grows? Does it worry about staying the same, or does it inherently know that in order to reach its maximum capacity it must be willing to do whatever it takes? What am I unwilling to be or do to move in the direction of my greatest presence? What judgments am I holding onto about myself or others that keeps me from changing?
- I don’t know how I would handle change in my life?
How much does the seedling look forward to change and not staying the same? Does it invite the sun, water, and soil to nurture it to life and growth? Does it look to the future of being all it can be for as long as it is here?
As you experience this spring time what do you see happening around you that can invite you to be more of the YOU the world is waiting for? Are you inspired by the baby animals coming into the world and their determination to be here in all their glory? Do you see the leaves filling the trees with grandeur to be the contribution to the earth they are here to be? Are you ready to be the greatness you truly be? The choice is there for you to choose. Acknowledge that you do have the power within you to change anything that isn’t working for you. What changes will you invite this spring?
