I see more people living in bondage that keeps them from being able to fully express themselves, to dare to live a rich and meaningful life, to allow themselves the luxury of believing in themselves to pursue the life they would truly like to have. Sadly this bondage is the result of the judgments, the limitations, the beliefs that have been bought as truth. How long are we going to continue to judge ourselves based on what someone else has decided is the right way to live? How much longer are we going to be afraid to be seen for who we truly are? How much longer are we going to suppress the joy and happy expressions of being alive? Think about it- the last time you were truly joyful, did people think you were on a drug or drunk? Is that the only way we will allow others to be happy?
Now we can take this one step further and ask what are we teaching our kids about freedom? Personally this writer thinks that kids are here to teach us the truth about freedom. They are in our faces with asking questions, challenging us to take a look at where true freedom lies. If we in deed stopped judging ourselves and others wouldn't the world be in a better place? If we could discover how to be in allowance of other people's choices without judgment, would the world change? Would there be more freedom to be who you are really meant to be? Personal freedom may just be the key to creating world freedom. This month reflect on ways that you can break your bonds of judgment and see how much you can set yourself free- free to be you!
